Cutie Pie
I found a little bow for her hair that will actually stay in, here are some pictures from last night of us playing with her :-)

Torti... what???
Toticollis or wry neck, that is what our little babe seems to have. We start physical therapy tomorrow and should be able to get this muscle back into shape! Good thing is they say it does not hurt her, probably bothers us more.

Here she is today for the short time she has been awake, she is still sleeping a lot and eating well. We think she is a little over 8 lbs now!

Slick Hair
Funny Faces
It's hard to believe that our little Olivia is over three weeks old now! She has changed so much in such a short time. She is starting to stay awake some during the day, right now it is mostly in the morning when she is up with Daddy. She did sleep good last night and for more than 2 hours at a time. Her appetite has increase and she is now up to about 3 ounces each feeding, we are going to try to weigh her today, we are betting she is over 7 lbs now. She still gets the hiccups, which still makes our big dog shake with fear, but they seem to be getting less each day.
Here are some of the funny faces our babe makes, she loves to stretch out her hands and move them all around!

Then there is the so sweet face of our sleeping little one.

10 Ounces!
Way to Go Olivia!
She surpassed her birth weight at her Dr. appointment today! In one week Olivia gained 10 ounces and now weighs 6 lbs, 13 oz. We no longer need to wake her up to eat and she can start setting her own "on demand" schedule. She is a sleepy bug again today, but here are some pictures from last night when she was awake.

Awake During the Day!
Olivia woke up during the day and stayed awake for a bit so we got to have some play time! She also had some tummy time and did a good job of lifting her head, almost got her to turn her head from one side to the other.
Here are some pictures of Olivia's room. We have everything pretty much done with the exception of things on for the walls. I'm trying to decide if we want to put Polka-Dots on the walls or some other pictures we found. I'm also going to add her hand and foot print and a growth chart to one wall and possibly some curtains. So far she is not sleeping here, but we use the rocker each night.

Big Day
Yesterday was a big day of meeting people and seeing cousins again.
Our dear friends Julie and Chris stopped by with their son Bennett. Bennett joined Julie and Chris and became a forever family early in December. We are so excited for them and glad we were able to finally meet B.
He is such a cutie and we look forward to watching him and Olivia grow!
Later in the evening we went to visit Great Granny and Granpa. Once again Olivia slept through the visit but Granny enjoyed holding her newest great grandchild and cousins Addi and Chloe were excited to be able to hold her this time.

Meeting Pat Pat
Today Olivia went to meet Jeff's Grandmother Pat, also known as Pat Pat and her Uncle Charlie.
Olivia slept through the entire visit, but we did get to show Pat the video of her first bath which showed her bright eyed and wide awake and the assessment they did at the hospital after she was born.
Grandma and Grandpa were also there and held Olivia as she slept and stretched.
Here are some more pictures from today.

Welcome Olivia!
What better place to start than with the birth of our beautiful baby girl!
Olivia arrived December 27, about 4-5 weeks earlier than expected, but is doing great! She weighed 6 lbs, 6 oz and was 20.25 inches long and is a healthy baby.

With how early Olivia was, we are so grateful that everything turned out so well. Her lungs were fine, which she showed us when she was born!
She was able to come home with us the day we left the hospital. She did have some jaundice, but after our Dr. appointment today they said she is looking better so no more blood tests!
Savannah is adapting well to her new "sister" and is worn out by the end of the day. She "searches" for Olivia in the room and will go lay near her swing or pack-n-play when she hears noises from her. For being an only child for 11 years we are very proud of how she is with Olivia.

So far so good!
