Pumpkins, Leaves and Sunshine

Yesterday was a beautiful fall day! Upper 70's with sunshine. Jeff has been working on getting the leaves raked in our yard and finally on day 2 we are ready to get them loaded up and out of our yard. Olivia played outside in her exersaucer in the warm sunshine, later in the day I put her in front of one of the piles in the back yard.

Last night we carves our pumpkins, Olivia wasn't too sure of that at first, think she wondered what the heck Daddy was doing to the pumpkin, but once we got a little further into the process she liked watching, and loved watching them glow once the were done!

10 Months Today!

Olivia is 10 months today. She is learning new things everyday, this week Jeff taught her to find his nose, it is too cute. She is also a "fruit puffs" eating machine, she would eat them all day if we let her. I tried giving her small apple pieces the other day, she looked at them, poked at them and squished them in her hand, but had no desire to eat them. It was funny to watch. She did try some of the chicken we had for dinner and seemed to like that. She is starting to climb more on Savannah, who takes it all in stride.

Practice Trick or Treat

This past Sunday we went to my grandma's "retirement" home for their trick or treat. Olivia slept though most of it but woke up just before it ended and got her one piece of candy (collecting only, no eating :-). Thank you to Addi and Chloe for the cute fairy costume she is wearing. Trick or treat is this Saturday at our house and we will take her to a few of our neighbors so they can see her, other than that she will be "helping" pass out candy at our house. Interested to see what she does with everyone coming dressed up!

Great Grandpa Bob

This past week we went to Florida for Jeff's Grandpa's 92nd birthday! This was the first meeting for Olivia and G.G. Bob. She also got to meet cousins David and Ben. We had a wonderful time seeing everyone and celebrating another year for grandpa. Olivia had an exciting week, staying up late celebrating with everyone, playing with bubbles, going into the ocean waves, putting her toes in the sand and playing on the beach. But the highlight of our trip was Bob's birthday, what an amazing thing to be 92!

Little Monkey

Rollin' Rollin' Rollin' should be Olivia's theme song! That is one of her favorite things to do. She has also learned Patty-Cake and Jeff is working on Gimme' Five, so far she is picking it up pretty quickly. When she woke up this morning we notice another little tooth poking its way through, the would explain the increase in drool the last day or two :-)
