High Chair, Cereal and Sippy!

Livie had a big day today!

Her first time in her “high chair”, she seemed to like this, liked that she was sitting up and able to be with me in the kitchen while I washed bottles and cleaned up a bit. Her first cereal, which she did really well with, she ate almost all of it! And…her first time with a sippy cup, she knows that it is supposed to go in her mouth and almost got it by herself, she did really well when we gave it to her and did actually drink a little water.

So much in one day for such a little girl!

Magnaw and her girls

Magnaw is the name that Chloe has given my mom for Grandma, so that is what we are calling her.

Happy Birthday Jeff!

Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband who turns 40 today!

To celebrate he went golfing on this beautiful day and shot a 77! Way to go! Tonight we are having a nice steak dinner with corn on cob and baked potatoes...yum!

Olivia was so funny when I was taking these pictures, she wouldn't take her hand out of her mouth or look at the camera much, but she enjoyed playing with the paper, which eventually made it into her mouth and was full of drool.

Sleepy Baby

This afternoon I put Olivia in her jump-a-roo so I could put some laundry in, she was playing for a while and then I didn't hear her... this is what I found when I went to check on her. :-)

Feet, Feet, Feet!

Olivia has found both her feet and when she doesn't haveon any clothes has found out how fun it is to hold on to both of them and pull toward her face. So far she has not put them in her mouth, but I'm sure that is to come.




She had quite a week since Monday, in addition to being very sleepy on Monday from staying up too late on Sunday night, she seems to have started teething and the drool is increasing, along with the being a bit fussy. Monday and Tuesday she was quite a bear at times and nothing we did seemed to make her happy, but as the week went on and she finally started sleeping again during nap time, she has returned to her normal happy self!

Mother's Day

My first Mother's Day was a good one! We went to my brother's for lunch with my mom and the rest of the family, then went out to dinner with Jeff's family to celebrate with his mom.

Olivia had quite a day and stayed up until 11 pm! She is zonked this morning and is catching up on some zzzz's.

My New Hat

A friend of mine I worked with made Olivia this very, very cute hat, along with some cute toys. She looks too cute in this, her daddy thinks she should be a baby model. Could I use the word cute more...probably!

Sunny Day in May

It was a nice day today the sun actually was out for a while so we sat outside with Olivia and took a ton of pictures. Here are just a few...

Bouncing Baby???

Not just yet...we put together her bouncer today, she is still a bit small to actually make it bounce, little too short and doesn't weigh enough to make it sink any, but she seemed to like looking at the toys.

Olivia's Stats!

Olivia had a Dr. appointment today, she now weighs in at 13 lbs. 3 ozs and is 25.25 inches long!

Slept through the Night!

Last night was the first time that Olivia slept through the night! She went down around 10 pm after drinking 8 ounces and woke up around 7 am!
I don't see this being a trend yet, but it was a big step for her :-)

Unfortunately this does not mean that Jeff and I slept through the night...with an old diabetic dog Jeff had to get up to tend to her around 3 am and then I was up around 5 am just to check on Olivia since she made a few noises.

Birthday Dinner

Happy Birthday Dad!

Tonight we had my family over for my dad's 60th birthday! We all had a good dinner, some wonderful carrot cake and brownies and then Chloe and Addi played dress up. Here is Princess Chloe and the birthday boy who was "resting" after a satisfying dinner!

Here is Livie chatting it up in the morning (Daddy's time). She loves to lay in her jungle play-area and talk to the animals hanging all around her. She is talking more and more lately...

Got Milk?

Olivia decided yesterday that she could feed herself, she has been grabbing at the bottle for a while now and yesterday took hold with both hands. Luckily she doesn't think she is big enough to do this every feeding :-) Don't want my babe to grow up too fast!

Rolling

Olivia has started to roll on her side, but only during the night, we have yet to see her do this while she is playing during the day. Here is a picture of her this morning before daddy got her out of bed.
