Back Online...

It has been a while since our last post. My laptop with all of my pictures crashed and burned and Jeff is working hard on recovering all of them, along with what ever else I had on that hard drive. (Thank you sweetie!) We back up all of our pictures but can't find one disk of the pictures of Olivia the day she was born... UGH!

Anyhow... Olivia is walking and talking more and more each day. Since last post about 3 weeks ago she has taken off, she walks and sometimes runs everywhere, loves to go outside and play since it is finally spring and Jeff set up her playhouse outside for a few days last week. She loves going in and out of the house and watching the backyard out the windows!

She has some new teeth, three molars are coming in and she loves to brush her teeth each day (and eat the toothpaste!)

She is starting to say some words and is mimicking us more and more each day. The other day Jeff sneezed really loud and she mimicked his sneeze, it was too funny! She says duck, pjs, head, and a few other words as she hears us talk.

Here are some pictures of Olivia walking on her own, they look as if she is really running, but it was more of a balance thing :-)

Today we finally went outside for a walk. Warmer temps, sun shining and snow MELTING! Yeah! Come on Spring we are ready!  Olivia had a blast outside and found the two small snow patches that are left on our patio and fell in one after a bit :-)

We have some video of her walking but I need Jeff to edit so I can post.

 

 

Our Growing Girl!

It's been a while since I posted anything, we are all doing good, ready for Spring to arrive so we can quit hibernating!  Olivia took a few steps on her own this week, mainly from the couch to the ottoman or other couch, but they were steps on her own! She doesn't seem to be in much of a hurry to walk by herself and Jeff and I are perfectly ok with that! She is still "talking" and being pretty animated at times. She also has taken notice of songs that are on a few of the Disney shows that we have on in the mornings. She has started to dance to the Hot Dog song and loves the songs on Imagination Movers. She will be playing and not paying attention until the songs come on then she gets pretty excited and moves toward the TV so she can dance! It is very cute!

What's in Here?

While we were getting ready to make dinner tonight, and the fridge was open, our little explorer crawled right over to see what was going on. She looked and looked and then her daddy pulled out the pickles! How excited she was, Olivia LOVES pickles!

Walkin' and a Talkin'

Olivia has finally figured out how to turn her walker so she is really on the move now! It is so fun to watch her just take off around the house and talk, talk, talk as she walks about. No real words yet, but she does like to tell us stories :-) Jeff put his hat on her and she loved it, kept it on for about an hour and when it would fall off she would try to put it back on herself. Looks like a beret at times!

 

 

 

 

 

 

This morning Jeff was playing with her and making her hair stand up, you can really see how long the top is!
