TuTu Cute

I borrowed some tutu's from my sister in-law for Olivia to play with, she loves wearing them around! This past week Jeff noticed that when he looks at his watch to see what time it is that Olivia will also look at her wrist, so he will now ask her what time it is and she'll look at her wrist, it is too cute! We are also working on having her hold up her finger when we ask her how old she is, so far she does pretty good with this. Still not a lot of real words, the normal Mama and Dada, she can say pizza, bear, pjs, thank you and sometimes we'll her some other words when she doesn't think we are listening. She does babble and play with sounds a lot, but doesn't seem too interested yet in letting us know what she wants with words, but does a great job of pointing and grunting :-)

Here are some pictures from this past week!

Popsicles and an Alligator

Olivia and I went to play with cousins Addi and Chloe on Saturday. Olivia had fun playing outside, she "rode" on a bike, had her first Popsicle (which she shared with mommy), played in the sandbox, ran around in the grass and watched Chloe and Addi ride their bikes. What a fun day! She also has figured out how to pull her pull toys that she received for her birthday and Christmas, she thinks it is a lot of fun to have something follow her!

Our Little Climber

So, Olivia has finally figured out how to climb on the ottoman and small table we have (had) by the side of the couch. She would climb on the small table and then climb over the arm of the couch. So, that table is now residing in the basement for awhile. Then she figured out that climbing, standing and trying to jump from the ottoman to the couch is such fun! Oh My! I see some big tumbles in her future :-0 We are trying to teach her that once she climbs up, she must sit on her bottom...so there is lots of "sit on your bottom" during play time.

Here are some pictures of our climber as well as some others from this week.

Sunny Day

After a brief cold snap and some rain we are back outside! The sun is shining and that puts a smile on all our faces! Jeff got Olivia a huge bubble maker which she loves. Today she decided to drag the wand around, although she did try waiving it earlier and managed to make a few small bubbles.

Happy Easter

What a beautiful day today...sunny, warm and fun with the family, what could be better!

We had Easter lunch at my grandparent's house and then the three girls had a Easter egg hunt!  Olivia had such fun hunting eggs, and it was neat to see my little girl hunt eggs in the same yard I did so many Easters before. After that we went to Gaga and Papas, Olivia walked and walked around the garden and wore her self out!

And they are off...notice the two older girls waiting patiently at the door :-)

Back Online...

It has been a while since our last post. My laptop with all of my pictures crashed and burned and Jeff is working hard on recovering all of them, along with what ever else I had on that hard drive. (Thank you sweetie!) We back up all of our pictures but can't find one disk of the pictures of Olivia the day she was born... UGH!

Anyhow... Olivia is walking and talking more and more each day. Since last post about 3 weeks ago she has taken off, she walks and sometimes runs everywhere, loves to go outside and play since it is finally spring and Jeff set up her playhouse outside for a few days last week. She loves going in and out of the house and watching the backyard out the windows!

She has some new teeth, three molars are coming in and she loves to brush her teeth each day (and eat the toothpaste!)

She is starting to say some words and is mimicking us more and more each day. The other day Jeff sneezed really loud and she mimicked his sneeze, it was too funny! She says duck, pjs, head, and a few other words as she hears us talk.

Here are some updated pictures of our beautiful girl!
